Children of the Stones

I found out they've got all of "Children of the Stones" on youtube. I've been wanting to check out this show since my "Tomorrow People" phase. There's the whole series here. Maybe I won't spend today transferring the last of the ProRes folders and synching footage (still! 50 days after principle photography!) on this day, another gloomy one in Seattle. Maybe I'll just sit in my pajammies all day and watch all of this show? Nope. Although about a month and half ago I assembled a very rough edit with bad sound, to look at with the composer, tomorrow is my first real day editing--working on the first scene of the movie. Let it rain!

I've been doing a lot of transfers this week for "The Speed of Sound" and prepping for the next phase of post-production, spending lots of time in front of my computer, and sleeping fitfully. Getting grouchy at times. I've turned into a Wisconsin country-boy version of a drunken Mark E. Smith. That's what sleep deprivation does to me. I even look like him.

Summer Update

It's been a busy early summer for me here in Seattle. I'm back to work at the day job, still doing organizational work for post-production on "The Speed of Sound", riding ferries when I have the time, and helping shoot Chy's PSA on dental hygiene for older people. I'm looking forward to this week, a bunch of tedious processes end on "SOS" and things get more interesting.
